Event – Celebration of the Harvest Santa Barbara Wine Country

Celebrate the harvest in the Santa Barbara Wine Country with wine and food tasting

The 24 Annual Celebration of the Harvest Weekend October 10-13, Santa Barbara Wine Country

This annual event draws in nearly 150 members of the Santa Barbara Wine Vinters Association are participating in the celebration with open houses, special tasting and vineyard walks. The weekend kicks off with the Le Paulee wine dinner and capstones with Festival Grand Tasting at the Mission.

Throughout the Celebration of the harvest weekend, wineries will be hosting their own wine centric events from winemaker dinners, barrel tastings and even library tastings.  Check out the Celebration of the Harvest Website for more details

Vinter’s Visa

Many of the wineries are participating in an all-inclusive wine tasting pass called the Vinter’s Visa, good for complimentary wine tasting at twelve different tasting rooms. Other participating wineries will be offering upgrades to your tastings like access to their library collection, club wines, special tasting rooms, and discounts.  $50 Click here to see a complete breakdown by winery and to purchase.

Festival Grand Tasting

Saturday, October 11th at Old Mission Santa Ines in Solvang

All 100 plus winery members will be participating at the Grand tasting and will be pouring their wines. Many of the wineries will have their winemakers on hand pouring. This is a great time to meet your favorite winemakers and ask them some tough questionsJ.  See the complete list of 100+ winery members.  There will also be over 20 food vendors providing some food to enjoy and fortify yourself so you don’t get zonked out by your 30th taste. Santa Maria Bus Pick Up: Best Western Big America at 12:00pm. Departs Festival: Approximately 4:30pm

Feel like something private? Use Uber New users can use the code “sbwineharvest” to receive $20 towards your first ride. Even if you have not used Uber, it is a great value and cheaper than a DUI. Taxi services are available, but expect them to be swamped as well.
