Tom Holmberg (Founder/Food Blogger ): Tom is the founder/editor of www.TomsFoodieBlog,com. He grew up in a culturally diverse neighborhood and learned to appreciate all types of food at a young age. Tom spent 10 years in the restaurant industry in various roles, from server to prep cook. Tom had appearances on the television shows including “Man versus Food” and “Eat Street.”  Aside from Tom’s Foodie Blog, he is also the Food Editor for the new glossy magazine, OC South Magazine.

Aside from his blind reviews of restaurants featured in this blog, Tom consults on gastronomic travel,  social media, and taste testing feedback to local restaurants.

  2. Tom I was so excited to try one these interesting concoctions in Lake Forest until I realized that you were talking about Lake Forest California, not Illinois…. OH no….. Well maybe this is my excuse to take a trip to CA – to go in search of Slater’s 50/50.

    I also agree that life is too short to eat bad food and drink cheap wine. Right on with that!
