Event – Hoag’s 27th Annual Summer Movie Classic
Hoag Summer Movie Classic Featuring the film Gravity and 30 restaurants
The Hoag summer movie classic is back again at The Hangar in Costa Mesa at the Orange County Fairgrounds, 88 Fair Drive. This longstanding annual food and film event, hosted by the Hoag Hospital Foundation and its 552 Club, will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at 5 p.m. The Hoag Summer Movie Classic will feature both 30 of Orange County’s best restaurants and a private screening of the motion picture, Gravity.
The participating restaurants will be offering all you can eat samples, including such dishes as ceviche shooters to creative tacos and sliders. At last year’s event, I really enjoyed the fish tacos from Bear Flag Fish Co. and the food from Red O. There is something for every palette and guests are sure to try a new restaurant they haven’t discovered. Each of the local restaurants donates their time and talent to this event, making it a huge success to raise funds and friends for Hoag.
A partial list of participating restaurants include (more added daily): A Restaurant, Red O, Sol Cocina, Pitfire Artisan Pizza, Antonello Ristorante & Enoteca Lounge, Nello Cucina, Quattro Caffé, Bear Flag Fish Co., Blackmarket Bakery, Boudin Bakery, Café 538, Caliente, The Counter, DP Catering, Orange Coast Winery, Blue Water Grill, Ho Sum Bistro, Kéan Coffee, Newport Landing, Harborside, Picante Martin’s, Royal Thai Cuisine, Muldoon’s Irish Pub, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, Santa Monica Seafood, Straub Distributing, Turnip Rose, 24 Carrots, Gabbi’s Mexican Kitchen, Newport Rib Company, and more!
Individual tickets are $125 and include unlimited food, beverage and movie. Tickets available now at http://giving.hoag.org/summermovieclassic2014.
