The Los Angeles Times Travel Show welcomes the world to Southern California February 23 and 24 at the L.A. Convention Center. We’re counting down to the 15th annual event by highlighting many of the exciting facets and providing tips from the globetrotting, distinguished experts appearing over the weekend. Foodies rejoice! Devour the best tips on where to eat, drink and recharge on your travels!

In just two years,Malarkey has opened five wildly successful restaurant concepts in San Diego including Searsucker, named Time magazine’s #2 hottest restaurant in the country. He has hosted and guest starred in TV series on TLC, Travel Channel, Bravo, and OWN. In early 2013, he’ll join ABC’s new cooking competition show, “The Taste.” He is the author of “Come Early, Stay Late.”
