A Taste of Knott’s Berry Farm
Knott’s Berry Farm has more food to offer than funnel cakes
I was recently invited to a media preview of “A Taste of Knott’s” to highlight their food from around the park. I will be perfectly honest with you, I have grown to think about food at Knott’s Berry Farm as only fried chicken and funnel cake.
I learned that they actually have much more good food then you may realize. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the options. If you are going to Knott’s for the last days of summer, let this be a quick guide on where to eat! This blog post is largely a photo journal of where to eat, but here are a couple of my favorites:
Fireman’s Brigade BBQ
(located in the Ghost Town) -
Flank Steak Sandwiches and 11-hours Slow Cooked Ribs
(located near the Calico Saloon)
CookieWich, a delicious ice cream sandwich
Ghost Town Grub
Funnel Cake “Fully Loaded” – This is what I have come to associate with Knott’s Berry Farm and they still do it better than anyone.
Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner
Mrs. Knott’s Chicken -This is the dish that made Knott’s Berry Farm famous. Still my absolute favorite dish.
(On the Boardwalk) -
Coaster Cheese Burger- Juicer than your average burger and topped with crunchy jalapeno chips
Ghost Town Grill
(Located in the Ghost Town)
Goldie’s Honey Garlic Salmon and Baby Spinach Sandwich
The one item that I liked, but didn’t get a picture was the Hawaiian Ahi Poke. Although definitely not as good as the real thing from Hawaii, I was pleasantly surprised that they made a respectable Ahi Poke Bowl.
Aside from the restaurants at the Knott’s facilities, you might be surprised that the Knott’s campus was grown it’s footprint to include a Pink’s Hotdog and a TGIF at the California Marketplace ,located outside the park. On Sunday’s Knott’s also does a Sunday Champagne brunch. I have not attend this brunch myself, but I hear that the food is good.
